Produces an easy-to-use, hard drying and shiny icing for cookie decorating.
- 4 cups icing sugar
- 1/8 – 1/4 cup soy milk
- 1/4 cup clear corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Yield: should be enough to decorate 2-3 dozen cookies
Beat the icing sugar with 1/8 cup soy milk first. Next add the corn syrup and vanilla. Very cautiously add soy milk as needed to get to the desired consistency.
Divide and add food colouring, if desired.
Takes a few hours to dry hard.
