Tea Biscuits

Who doesn’t love a tea biscuit? We made these into breakfast sandwiches with fried egg, tofu bacon and a slice of tomato.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Earth balance
  • 1 cup soy milk

Yield: approx. 8-10 biscuits

Preheat oven to 425o

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the Earth balance. Add the soy milk.

Make a soft dough. Roll or pat to 3/4 “ thickness and cut into desired shapes. Place about 1” apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
