Who doesn’t love nuts, caramel and chocolate all in one treat? These would make a really great gift or fun, inclusive snack for a party where you have folks who eat both gluten free and vegan. Of course, not-so-friendly to the nut averse.


  • 1 cup cashews (raw or roasted)
  • 1/2 cup whole almonds
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (very thick)
  • Dark chocolate (high quality)

Arrange nuts on a tray so that they resemble the head, tail and limbs of a turtle. Drop a tsp of thick caramel in the centre. Drop a tbsp (or more if needed) of melted chocolate that has been brought to temper on top of the caramel. Let set at room temperature or, to speed it up, put your tray in the fridge.
